Welcome to the website for my novel, The Deviant, which I wrote as a way of showing that women in power can be just as cruel as men, if not more so; that they can be compelled by appetites they can’t control and ruin lives without regard to consequence. The book is also a celebration of journalism, a craft that I’ve loved and pursued for the past forty years. There is nothing like the adrenaline rush of finding a big story and having it all to yourself, especially if it exposes a corrupt politician or businessman. So sit down, hold on and enjoy a tale of sexual perversion that trashes all notions of political correctness. My hope is that it is as much fun to read as it was to write.
